Are you feeling overwhelmed, struggling to manage the demands of life, or seeking positive changes for yourself or your family? As a therapist with experience in both clinical and educational settings as a school counselor, I understand the unique challenges individuals face at different life stages. I am an eclectic therapist who draws from various approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy. I help you develop coping strategies, identify triggers, improve communication with others, implement self-care practices, enhance time management skills, and take better control of your actions and decisions.
Is your child having trouble connecting with peers, struggling with academic demands, experiencing difficulty with emotional regulation, or facing challenges at school? Perhaps you are a student dealing with difficult teachers, time management issues, or trouble staying focused in class. You might even feel nervous about talking to classmates or participating during class. Having worked with students as a school counselor for 7 years, I truly understand how difficult it can be to manage these challenges. I invite you to take the first step toward overcoming them. From adolescents dealing with academic stress and social pressures to advising parents on strategies to promote academic success, I am here to help and support you.
I also support individuals struggling with substance use by helping them identify the underlying patterns that contribute to addiction, recognize behaviors that enable substance use, and work together to create routines that promote healing. Additionally, I focus on addressing trauma, which is often at the root of addiction, and encourage individuals to confront and overcome these experiences in a safe and supportive environment. I am here to help you break free from the cycle of addiction while allowing you to find a sense of purpose and fulfillment in your life.
I am excited about connecting with you as you begin your healing journey. The process of change and transformation can be challenging, but it can lead to long-lasting changes that bring a sense of purpose. I will provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can freely express your thoughts and emotions. Together, we can create a path toward wellness that fits your unique needs. Let's work together to help you achieve a sense of peace, purpose, and balance in your life. Please feel free to fill out a contact request form or call me for a free 15-minute consultation.
